ASSOC PROF EYO MENSAH, PROJECT ADVISER

Eyo Offiong Mensah joined The AFLANG Project as an Adviser in 2018. Specializing in Morphosyntax and African Linguistics, Mensah is an Associate Professor of Linguistics with 20 years of experience in research and teaching. He is also a Consultant Linguist to several organizations including the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). Mensah is a member of several language and linguistics societies including the World Congress of African Linguistics (WOCAL), the West African Linguistic Society (WALS) and the African Studies Association of the United Kingdom (ASAUK) as well as a grantee of institutions and organizations such as SOAS University of London, The Volkswagen Foundation and the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) through the University of Ghana. He is an editor for several journals published within and outside the African continent and he has collaborated with professors from several parts of the world on various research projects.
